Go to the drugstore. There is a product called "Instead". It is like a cervical cap type device that you insert, so it will collect your flow. You can even have sex with one in! That should solve your problem of bleeding while swimming.

I think you should either try the tampon or wait until your period is over and then go swimming, but I know how u feel,, i don't really like tampons either

If you don't want to use a tampon...don't go swimming. You can still put your feet in the water to cool off.

if you really want to go swimming then you will use a tampon or you can either bleed in the pool and let everybody around you know that you are on your period

tampons aren't bad & even though idk why you don't want to use one i think you should try to.. b/c if you insert it right you can't even feel it at all. just make sure you put it up far enough. Good Luck =)
