No but I remember the wife of the famous golfer Arnold Palmer giving an interview and when asked if they had any superstitions that helped Arnold win his games, his wife said " Well, before every game, I always kiss his balls for luck!"

Dirty balls are never a good thing. Dirty balls can very easily become smelly balls and stink up a ball bag.
Always wash your balls.
