Steve Nash easily. I watched both of them play for the Suns, and Steve Nash is the reason the Suns went to the Conference finals. He pretty much led the league in assists 2 years in a row, and was two-time MVP!

Hard to argue with that, although Jason is a great player. Steve just elevates the game of the people around him.

Steve Nash shoots 3 pointers better. Also is better at the free throw line. Jason Kidd rebounds better.
But edge is to Nash.

Steve Nash sets up his teammates much better than Jason Kidd. He has excellent court vision and makes smart passes.

Steve Nash is a better PG beacuse he can score and assist and Jason Kidd can assist but not a good shooter.

Nash. He passes it more. He is a better free throw shooter. He is a better three point shooter. He fakes out the defense because they think he will pass it if he gets near the hoop but instead fakes them out and scores. Something Kidd can't do. Also Nash is the MVP for two consecutive years.

Both are at the top of their particular position. Nash is better at making plays for all his teammates but Kidd is a serious scoring threat as well
