I hate him. He is a egomaniac, not to mention a rapist and he cheated on his wife.

Kobe is a ball hog right now, because he has to be. When he's out the game, no one takes over the game. when he gets back in the game, it's an entirely different game. It's the same way with Iverson. People say Iverson isn't a ball hog and Kobe is. They do the exact same thing. They have to score, because if they don't they're teams won't win. Iverson also had the most shot attempts in the league this season. Kobe averaged 5 assists and Iverson averaged 7. Kobe made the playoffs and Iverson didn't. Kobe is the best player on the planet.

Kobe probably has the best game in the league (I'm still undecided between him and LeBron). Talent wise you have to like the guy, if not at least respect him. Although I myself have considered him a ball hog, if you really think about, he has no one else except Odom around him. What do you expect him to do? Share the ball with everyone else just so people like you don't think hes a ball hog and lose every game? Give me a break this isn't a youth league, he's a competitor and he will do whatever he has to to win. And this is coming from a huge LeBron homer, so give me a break. He's not a ball hog.

As for whoever called him a rapist. I'm sorry but someone doesn't call you at 3 o'clock in the morning for milk and cookies. They also don't call you then to get to know you. She knew what he was calling for and what she was getting into. If she wasn't interested she shouldn't have taken the invitation. Now granted there is only 2 people in the world who knows what happened, Kobe and her and if she did tell him to stop he should've. However she shouldn't have put herself in that situation and don't you think the trial wouldn't have been dropped if they actually had a case?

Kobe's great. The fact that he may "ball hog" as you put it is really just a reflection on the overall quality of the whole Laker team. Can you imagine what the Lakers' record/stats would be if he did not control the ball as much? It would make the Clippers of old look like a real professional basketball team. ;-)

Kobe may have some attitude, just like every other player but it's more of a competitive attitude than egotistical. Kobe's a phenominal player and you should appreciate his play while he is still around.

How could you say hes not a good player. Hes one of the most Jordan like players in the NBA. At one time, thought to be the next Jordan. But anyway, people think hes a ball hog and stuff because he scores like crazy. The only way they even think about winning a game is to put up points, and thats what kobe does. Hes a one man team. Im sorry, i guess your not a lakers fan huh?

Well most of us only know Kobe as a basketball player, and not personally. I do believe that he's the best basketball player in the NBA right now. Anyone who says he's a ballhog is only being subjected to the media's portrayal of him. If you were to watch the whole Laker season then you'd see that he's not that much of a ballhog.

He did NOT rape that girl, as was proven in the trial. He cheated, so what? I bet 50% of all guys out there would cheat on their significant other. But that's all behind him. He does plenty of stuff for the community and recently he spent a day with a boy with terminal cancer whose last wish was to spend a day with Kobe.

He's a great player to watch. He has an amazing passion for the game and plays his heart out every night. He isn't a ball hog. He just has to take the bulk of the shots beause of his supporting cast. MJ shot a whole lot of shots for you who don't remember, but it wasn't a problem then.Kobe in no shape or form is a ballhog. Alot of you just hate him from what the skank in Denver said. How many of you haven't cheated? He was like 24 when that happened.

I think he's a really decent guy. I was neighbors with him for a bit and can't find the slightest ill thing to say about him. I like his cocky attitude on the court, brings some excitement to the game. I think he could be a better "team player" but at the same time I'd rather the ball be in his hands.
