I am working full time right now while being pregnant and hope to continue my same hours up until the birth. After the baby is born I am going to take about 8 weeks off and then go back to work semi full time

I worked full time up until the day I went into labor with maya (she was a week late). Afterwards, I went back to work for 2 hours/day, 5 days a week when she was 3 weeks old, taking her with me. I also worked from home ataring when she was 2 weeks old.

I would not reccomend this though, it was very difficult. But it helped me since I was suffering from Post Pardom, and getting out of the house, and working made me feel like 'me' again.

I quit working, however, when she was 4 months old, and have had some random freelance stuff since then, but no steady job. Staying at home worked better for me, once I got over the post pardom depression. I plan on being home with her untill she goes to preschool.

I worked full time, right up until 2 days before my baby was born. I took 6 months off when I had the baby, and then went back to work only 15 hrs/wk. I feel like I have the best of both worlds right now.

Yes I worked FT my entire pregnancy, my water broke the night of my due date and went to work the next day (we were moving offices) around lunch time I had to go for my normal check up and doctor said my water had ruptured the rest of the way and on to labor and delivery I went. I lasted 4 weeks on maternity and about went crazy so I went back to work FT and lovin it...my daughter is now 5.5 months old.

Yes, and then after six week maternity leave I went back fulltime again. However doing it again, I think this time I will plan on taking the week before my due date off as well just to relax a little before.

I worked full-time while pregnent until my third trimester, I loaded and unloaded boats into warehouses and in marinas. By the time i was 7months my tummy was so huge i just couldnt bend anymore. So depending on the job and what it requires it's perfectly safe to work until your due. After, his birth i returned to work partime (30) hours.... until he was was 6 months then i returned fulltime.

Yes, I worked fulltime until the day before my daughter was born. Then I returned to work when she was 11 weeks old.
