Usually shorter than they are. I dunno, something about a taller girlfriend is just akward.

Ideally 2 inches shorter at least. Girl tend to wear heels so anything taller than that and the girl will be towering above the guy. Then again tall girls equals long legs so it isn't all bad :)

Every guy is different. Heck what time is it and my opinion can change on this question. But actually I like most women tall or short and each have their own positive attributes.

"To each his own". My boy friend is a attracted to "homely" girls. I've known guys that are only attracted to the most beatiful bomb shells. Some huge guys like tiny girls, some tiny guys like huge girls. Some big guys like big girls. Some little guys like little girls. I've dated guys shorter than me, 5'7", and that's what they liked was a taller woman. I've been with taller guys that prefered shorter. It's a total stereotype that women are supposed to be shorter, smaller,"weaker" than men. Answer: It completely depends on the guy.

Guys prefer shorter girls because they want to feel like they are the man in the relationship. It makes them feel like a protector. Also when they hug a woman they smell their hair which makes them fall in love more...
