your child told you that they were bisexual.
i am, and i haven't told my parents yet.
i'm fifteen and i want to tell them, i'm just worried about how they'll react.

i've read the asnwers in the LGBT section but i wanted answers from a different group of people.

If my son came and told me he was BI theres not much I could say or do! He is my son and I love him more than anything in this world and that includes if he is Bi or gay or a mass murderer! I will always love him no matter what! Being Bi or gay is not something you choose to be- its just how you are born !!!!! Nothing could make me stop loving or supporting my son in every way I can!!!!

well u know ur parents better than i do, r they phobic? If they r, dont tell them. They could react many diferent ways expecially depending on the religion ur family has. If your going to tell them good for you. Just make sure not to change for anyone but you. I'm not saying being bi can be changed, i'm saying if ppl dont like u for u its their loss. I'm not bi, or lesbian but my grandma always thinks i should be more like a girl, and thats not me. So long story short after i had my hair done for senior pics she hasnt mentioned it. Although sexual persuasion is harder to deal w/ for some ppl. I hope everything goes to alright. There is nothing wrong w/ u. Good luck.

Sometimes parents over react and sometimes they even kick u out of the house but just tell them,it depends on how your parents r if they r strict they will immediately kick u out i know somebody that's bisexual and her parents just had 2 accept her but i think u should really just tell them,if i were your mom or dad i would totally accept your decision what ever makes u happy!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST OF LUCK!!!!!

you should tell them, being bisexual is nothing to be ashamed of, Ii know tons of people who are. you just like a varity and thats natural. but you really should tell your parents you are, it will make you feel better once its out in the open.

Dont tell them. They DONT need to know. When you are 18+ then tell them if you want but do it AFTER you move out.
