Well, if you include insects as animals (they are technically part of the animal kingdom) then mosquitos may be considered the most dangerous! Mosquitos transmit malaria which still kills thousands of people every year.
Consider the historical case of Alexander the Great--a guy who was undefeated in battle and whose army killed zillions of people and conquered most of the known world of his day. He was finally defeated by a mosquito bite, and died of malaria in India. So mosquitos can be extremely dangerous, even to the most deadly of humans!

It's true that man is the most dangerous but I'm sure that's not what you're looking for. I disagree that numerical statistics proves which animal is actually more dangerous to man. statistics only prove which animal in close proximity to man, is the most dangerous. I think it would be a toss up between the shark, which has no malice what so ever. It is simply an eating machine. and the wolverine, who is the only animal on the planet who kills for the pure pleasure of killing and is extremely hard to stop. I personally lean toward the wolverine.

There is a black spider in Australia. I do not know its name. It only burrows and it is nocturnal.
I actually saw this spider - I was vacationing and the park ranger took us on a nocturnal tour. He pointed it out to us.
I read with interest that this one if it stings a human, the person WILL die in 15 minutes. There is no antidote for this poison and it attacks the nervous system. Absolutely dangerous. Death is certain.
It is known to have killed some aborigines in the past, according to Australian Zoological Institute. But the aborigines are smart so, they have come to respect these spiders and other animals.

Malarial Parasites called Plasmodium?? I think that I have heard before that they kill more people than any other animal most people think it is the mosquito itself that is dangerous but from what I know the living things carried by mosqitos are what is dangerous and they only infect people in that way(through mosquitos). However I would have to say that without mosquitos they wouldnt be so dangerous...so when you say that they are the most dangerous you have to include mosquitos because without them the parasites woulnt kill as many people as they do.

"Most people think the most dangerous animal is the bear, or the shark, or the elephant. But they are all wrong. The most dangerous animal is a shark riding on an elephants back. Just eating and stomping everything they see." - Jack Handey (Deep Thoughts)

I've heard that if domestic cats were the size of a tiger or a lion, they would be the most dangerous creature on the face of the earth.

I think that the bull shark is the most dangerous animal, because it has one of the highest levels of testosterone of all animals, so it displays aggressiveness and viciousness.
