I am looking for Lawyers, Law Professors who can Practice in the State of New York, that can help now since the law has just change on doubled murder cases there and Legal Aide is over-booked,so I need somebody who will work pro-bono since we do not have the large fee it requires to attain one. thank you

I would suggest a Pre Paid Legal plan. You pay a small monthly membership fee and if you or someone in your family is name defendant or respondent in a court case you are represented. You have access to an attorney to ask questions to and they provide a ton of other great services. If you need something done that isn't covered under your membership you get a great discount.

If you have been charged with a murder case, the State is required to provide you with adequate legal representation for free, if you can afford it.

And you don't want just any yahoo that will represent you for free working your case - you need someone who has tried that kind of case before.

Tell the court since you have the right to an attorney to delay proceedings until someone from legal aide is available

Actually the "serious help" you need is not necessarily connected to your court case.
