how do i stop my eye from watering?

i accidentally dabbed mascara onto the white of my this morning. it didn`t hurt, and i wiped it off immediatly, but now my eye keeps watering! it`s getting kind of annoying!

let it be... the "tear water" is a sign of pollution in your eye.

Stick your finger in it. That works for me - or at least I think it does (it's a bit reflexive).

Honest to god, take all the mascara/liner/powder off that eye. Give it about 30 min to clear up and then reapply. If you wear contacts, take them out of that eye - you might have dabbed mascara on the contact.

I'd only see the doctor if this continues for a few days - At which point that denotes scratching the cornea.

rinse it with a cold water and close yr eyes rest for 10 minutes. If it still won't stop watering, I suggest u to see a doctor.

Try visine or another eye moisturizer. It sounds like your eye is just trying to get the mascara out still.

You irritated your eye. It will probably water for a couple of hours. If it continues to water after today, go to the eye doctor.

your eye is just cleansing itself.
it might be better off if you took off all your makeup. cuz your eye might be fighting off an irritation or infection cuz maybe the tip of the mascara cut ur eye a bit.
