I asked this question "How can wipe my hard disc?". Someone replied: "Format the C drive?". How do you do that?

Click on MyComputer
on C drive name right click
Format

Please don't format the computer belong to others!!!

your operating system will not work after you've formatted your c

right click at C:\ -> format drive

Note:
do not do it unless you are very sure about it. I dont see a reason why people need format C drive. Usually this is done during the installation of OS.

At the DOS command line prompt type... format C:\U and that should do it for you... just don't change your mind later because it's all going to be gone. The "U" switch tells your computer to format the C: drive UNCONDITIONALY so there is NOTHING that will keep it from formatting.

pop in an xp disk boot and follow the prompts...you may have to adjust ur bios to boot from cd first

Pop in a start up disk got to prompt like ,( chose minimal boot)
C:
C:Format C:
enter
are you sure ? (y or n)
hit yes and it is on the way ..........
