I was cleaning up in add/remove programs and I removed RealTek or something and have no sound. When I go into the control panel and sound devices it says none found.

I can't seem to find the CD my emachines came with, can I restore or DL somewhere online?

Go to Control panel-->System-->Hardware-->Device Manager---> Right click and say "Scan for hardware changes". This will find out your soundcard and reinstall it...

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your PC (if the card came in the machine) or the sound card (probably RealTek) and you should be able to download the drivers for free.

It should not be interior the trash bin because you bumped off a application particularly than delete a record. i'd do a equipment fix lower back to a time beforehand you bumped off it. That in all likelihood will carry it lower back. If that would not do it, you are able to ought to reinstall from the disk.
