In shoulder itself there are various areas where you can develop MUSCLE:
1.Push Ups will build your energy to lift weight and tone your muscle, 3 sets 15-20 counts per set
2.Up right i.e. Lift weight keeping equal hand distance from the rod and lift up.
3.BACK same as UP Right except lift weight on your back i.e Rod must rest on your neck next to spinal cord.
4. Dumble Press lift dumbles @ 90* direction
5. Arnold Press i.e. lift weight using your shoulder not your elbow. same as Bicepts Exercise.

Military press - hold a weight in each hand at shoulder height, elbows down. Lift straight up above your head. You can do a similar exercise anytime just by holding your arms straight above you head for an extended period of time.

Put one knee on your couch (or a chair) with the other foot planted on the floor. Lean over so that you support your body with one arm straight down on the couch. in the outer hand, hold your weight. While leaning over, lift the weight up to your chest like you are trying to start a lawnmower. Your elbow should come out from your body.

Also, same position, keep your arm straight and swing the weight back to your rear, parallel with your body.

Hold a weight in each hand and raise your arms straight out to your sides up to your shoulders.

I personally perform shoulder presses with dumbbells as a foundation exercise, then I add rear deltoid raises for the back of my shoulders to give them a rounder, wider look. I hope this helps.

I had a great exercise for that. You stand in a doorway with your arms straight and then you raise your arms straight out putting your knuckles on each side of the doorway.

and press outwards with just your shoulder muscles. If you do it for longer than 70 seconds, something cool happens. When you step out and relax, your arms will raise by themselves. :)
