Thanks for last Best Answer I am not a kid but i have my young cousins story for you ok honey.
I used to always wear thongs but only because I am so use to them there not really that comfortable and are crappy in hot weather when you are sweaty (lets not go there)
No though I much prefer boy short style pant (my ex bought me some) Think it was a hint he did not like my fat backside in a thong! and most of my male friend say they prefer boy shorts to thongs! There the big fashion in Spain where i use to live
When i was younger i was told thongs were the thing to wear with white Trousers. Thongs are really an item of underwear to be worn with certain outfits like say white jeans/trousers and hotpants and body hugging dresses and clothes you would not be wearing at your age. like strapless bras and backless bras you don't wear them with everything.
When I was younger before i moved to Spain I was working at Tammy Girl. We got a selection of girls thongs in and they were removed off the shop floor and caused a fair bit of local outrage so that proves when Tammy did clothes for up to 16 years old that thongs are not for kids
On Saturday Night my 11 and a half year old cousin Scarlett had a leaves ball at school here and a friend bought some size 8 thongs as Scarlett was wearing pale pink trousers. I was doing her some make up when she showed me i was a bit shocked but said nothing.
Sunday Morning Scarlett text me she said she did not like the thong it rubbed the inside of her bum and she kept pulling at it and the boys were laughing at her for scratching her butt so she ended up taking them of and putting them in the sanitary bin. She said she was very glad she chose to wear trousers over a skirt and knicker rule!
Also they go on about healt risks to thongs tho nothing is proved as far as i know crossing the road is health risk.
To me the only reason to wear a thong is to avoid a Visable Pantie line and when i was young and my cousin now she says VPL is not an issue for her mum and shes always getting chatted up so it is not an issue for her she just wanted to feel grown up for the disco but then she said it was pointless as it was full of kids!

Ummm.... The question should really be: Why would a kid wear thongs? I mean, since when are 8 year old girls worried about panty lines? Or, since when does a 4th grade girl wear a thong to make her boyfriend happy? BTW, what do you mean by 'kids' (i.e. what age group?)?
If you are talking about actual children (i.e. preteens), there are absolutely no practical or impractical reasons for wearing them. If you are talking about a teenager, then I guess it's really a personal choice. I, personally, prefer thongs because they are more comfortable (less to ride up my butt) and to avoid unattractive panty lines. I definitely don't wear them to attract my S.O. (lol). I think boy shorts are sexier in this case.

I'm not a kid but I'll put my two scents anyway. My niece recently bought a pair of pants that came with a thong and her step mom was like "how inappropriate" I don't have a little girl but I think there is a purpose for the underwear and if they're used for that purpose and not for showing off it should be fine. Your parents know you better than any one and if they think you're the type of female that would wear it to show off then they'll let you know!

Kids (under 16s) should not be wearing thongs as that sort of underwear is thought of as sexually provocative. It is wrong to market things like this to minors. Besides that, thongs sometimes cause infections, as they tend to go up the bottom, and germs from there can easily transfer to the vagina. Girls are more prone to infections of that sort.

I could never understand the thong. It really isn't very attractive seeing all that bum cleavage, and surely it's not very comfortable with all that string and stuff. So no i don't think any-one should be put threw a thong. Except chav's.

Its there personal prefferance, but I would suggest not. Seriously, what kind of comfort could a nine year old get from but floss. Seriously, they are sexually provocative and they should not be marketed to young girls.
I would say if you are older than 16, it's your choice. You are old enough to take responsibility for your actions and wash your own clothes. Other than that, if you are older than 14, you can wear them, but it is deffinatly sluttish. Especially when you can see them hanging out the back side. There really is no need for that.

Sorry, I am an adult, when you say kids, if you mean teenagers, why not? If you mean young children, I don't think so. When my daughter (now 8) is old enough to take herself off to the doctors and medicate herself with what they prescribe should she get an infection from wearing one, then its her decision, while I am responsible for her health and wellbeing, I wouldn't let her.

Want to know how to get your ex back? Change yourself. Don't worry about changing other people, worry about changing yourself. Go to https://tr.im/6Rtoy
Once you do that then you can start to worry about getting back together with your ex, other wise you will find that you are fighting about all the same things and getting no where. Do what it takes and I promise things will work out in your favor.
The funny thing is I came to the realization that I had to change a little too late. After I was kicked out and after I was about to lose the only things that truly mattered to me - her love. A funny thing happens when we truly love someone and lose them. We do what ever it takes to get them back. For me I had to drop bad habits that had caused not only our relationship to sour but practically every other relationship I had had in the past. Not only with women, but with friends, co-workers, family, you name it.
Which is why I say to you as my ex at the time said to me, the only thing you can do is change yourself. Work on yourself and improve on the person that you already are. Drop the negative things in your life that don't belong there and you will see all of your relationships start to take off to new heights.
