You can't inherited accents from parents, you learn and speak with the accents that you hear and use everyday in your local area. Some friends of mine are Chinese, but born in America, and they don't have Chinese accent when speaking English.

That's cause in don't live in Scotland, you live somewhere else so you'll have a different accent

I'm French and I can't speak any- it doesn't matter what you heritage is if you're not immersed in it you won't do it or be it.
