Are your eyes the kind that change color depending on what you wear? If so, lucky you! Wear a camoflauge green shadow in the crease & corner and a khaki liner when they're green. When they're blue, wear blue grey shadow and liner.. pale pink( not too light) on the lid with both. Also try plum shadow with either of the liners or with a plum- grey liner. The same muted pink on the lid will be great with that, too! The plums would work beautifully with whatever you eye color isthat day. Just make sure the plum's not too red so you don't look like you've been crying!

I personally like white, light gray, or light green on the lids, then a darker shade in the crease feathered just slightly towards the brow. If you want to be more dramatic, use the same blush that you use on your cheeks to kiss the area between your eyelid crease and the brow.
You didn't ask, but to me eyeliner is out because while it "sharpens" the look of the eye, it also makes it look smaller. I also prefer lots of black mascara no matter what color the eyes are or the hair. Mascara makes the eyes pop and it's always flirty! (2000 Calorie mascara is very good.)

do you watch the "What Not to Wear" show? Carmendy (the make-up artist) says that green is the best colour to bring out hazel eyes.

"Brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green (because they are in the same greenish family, they brighten green eyes). And gold, lime-green, really light green, bright purple (super modern)." -from free-beauty-tips.com. Pink looks great! Also there's these eyeshadows, eyeliners, and mascaras to bring out your eye color (i don't remember the brand, easily findable @ walgreens, target, etc). I have the one for blue eyes, looks great!! -from me.

definitly a lighter purple or pink. Trust me i have deep brown eyes. And purple brings it out the best. You could also try a navy blue. Or if your a risk taker or punker like me...you could pull an Avril Lavigne and wear red or yellow.
