wondering does foot size differ, just like a person is taller during day time and shorter during night time.

Yes, feet do get larger during the day.
Blood pools in the foot as the day goes on because of gravity. Therefore, always buy your shoes in the afternoon and not in the morning or you will experience as I did the event of buying shoes that don't fit.

Towards the end of the day your foot will get larger as it gets stretched out, and the weight of walking spreads it.
