If you live in a big city, tell me what you believe small town life is like? What is your impression?

Well, I don't exactly live in a BIG city. I think Pensacola, Florida is somewhere in between small and big. The town next to me though is small, and I have attended church and worked in the town for many years. So here is my take... In small town living a lot of people know each other, and news seems to travel fast. I wouldn't consider it boring in most senses. It can be pretty laid back - peaceful I guess. I'm not really sure about the privacy. I think a person who lives in a small or big town has to control the level of privacy to some extent.

small town life is most definately more peaceful. the people are usually more personable and nicer than on a large city. the only real draw backs are the fact that there usually nothing much to do. so you have to drive a good ways for any real entertainment. all in all i think small town life is better

Ive lived in both, atl and in many a small town down south. I like living out in the country personally, I live off the side of a dang mountain now, lol but I like to visit big cities like atl, LA, MIA and the sort though because they have better shopping. THough my town has some good stores for being as small as it iz, I guess because we get a lot of tourists in the winter.

Small town life is fun because you get away from everybody and its quiet. i would say peaceful. I get away into long island with my family when we want to go on vacation and stuff like that

People can make any those things possible.
The "city" doesn't do it.
In many large cities, one may not know ones neighbor. Loneliness is very common in large cities.
