So you were taken for a ride. You honestly do not believe that you are the first, and certainly, you will not be the last. It is called 'growing up'. We learn many things in this life and the trick is to learn them before they occur, in that way we can avoid being made an idiot. You really are not an idiot, if you think about it, you trusted and your trust was broken. You pay for it by the anguish you are now going through, but if you learned something from the experience, you are better off that when it happened.........................

i don't think you were such an idiot. do you know something, as human you likely to make mistakes so i will say it was something that you didn't do well but it doesn't mean you were idiot.
