Assuming its a 1.9 to 2.3 litre engine, you should find on the left side(passenger) under the timing belt cover. Ford, in its infinite wisdom decided that running the water pump off the timing belt was a "way better" idea.
IF the engine is still running, plan on replacing the pump and the timing belt. If its not then the valves will need to be retimed.

In the front of the engine , right behind the radiator fan.
