You are absolutely right.

In fact, there are statistics that show there is more "woman on man" and "woman on child" domestic violence than "man on woman" - but because the media today is dominated by women (like 73% of all news producers are female), only the male statistics are published.

And ... what man is gonna have the courage to complain that his woman beats him?

Good question!

It is wrong for either a man or a woman to hit each other. If a relationship is not working out, i will just leave and not hit any woman at all.

Not all men can resort to this and don't feel right until they hit the woman and then look like jerks before the courts. Some women themselves are not any thing easy and at times they do appear before the courts as well in some cases of domestic abuse involving men.

The sad twist to that is when children have to see their parents hit each other and this do have an effect on them in their relationships with a man or woman.

There are a lot of men out there abused by their wives. The problem is they don't/can't hit them back so they end up suffering in silence a lot because of ego. It would be difficult for a man to say "my wife beats me up" but it happens and it can be JUST AS severe as if a man hits a woman. I am also a woman. I have never personally been in a physically abusive relationship (ever) and I'm happy about that. I think we should all keep our hands off of each other unless it's for reasons of "love" and not harm.

Because men are built bigger than most women, and considered more weak, making it an unfair match to put a woman up against. And if the woman is some big butch thing and hits the guy for no reason, then thats wrong, but no i disagree

I agree 100%. This is another example of our double standard society. It IS wrong, very wrong for a man to hit a woman, generally they are much stronger and can do much more damage, but it IS ALSO very wrong for a woman to hit a man. 2 wrongs don't make a right. In MY book, they are both EQUALLY wrong for hitting someone of the opposite sex, and both should be punished, and required to get help with their anger issues.

Because some men are stronger or bigger than a woman and if they hit a woman she could get hurt and end up in the hospital. And if a woman hits a man its just a little hit to them.

In my opinion it is just as wrong for a woman to hit a man as it is for a man to hit a woman.

I guess society thinks it is better because the man is supposed to be bigger than the woman. And he is supposed to protect her. I say, "hey what about all that woman's rights stuff. You want the same rights as men, take the same punishment as men".

oh i agree with you. if women can put their hands on men then the man has the right to knock her into the middle of next week well maybe not that hard but you get the point. society always condemn men for being abusive but what about abusive females, society never says anything to them but i feel as though it isn't right. i guess the right men know that their strength is like 10 times a woman and they walk away when things like that happen. but if i was a man and my woman was abusive i would call the cops on her to get her arrested to see how she would like it.

it does not have enought press thats why its not a big deal... plus there is male pride... then there is the evil woman who does this she will cry that he did it, and she will be believed before the man will... the police will arrest the man before the woman... most times..... I agree it is a big deal.
Eventually it will be ok for a man to talk about this stuff just like it is now ok for women to talk about rape.
Maybe if Oprah does a show on it it will be OK. But prolly not until.

It's never allowed for any person man or woman to hit another person of the opposite sex...Now By law if A man hits a woman and she has marks on her then he can get sent to jail and Vice Versa....Now if both have marks, both parties are going to jail too. At least that's how it goes down in Texas!!!!
