Back in 2000 this was the major story. "Hundreds of women murdered raped bodies dumped ect..."
but it's been some time now and I know from friends who live in El Passo they find more victims everyday almost.
Seems no one can stop it or wants to
but what the current number? are we in the five hundreds?

Here is a link to a web site that advocates for the families of the victims. It says 'nearly 400' and is dated June 7. It has links to a lot of information about these crimes and the lack of appropriate investigations.

According to this article from June 27, 2006, over 400 women have been murdered or disappeared. I'm sure that number is higher as not all women have been accounted for.

that is terrible. I surely have heard of similar horror memories before, even as people opt to bypass the border, they ought to apply a "coyote" to take them, and they many times owe them as a lot as $1500 to get interior the country. many situations the ladies are raped or used any way they prefer to apply them till the debt is paid. I keep in recommendations when I worked on the health Dept, a smooth lady from Guatemala, changed into persistently raped by using those who presented her in the course of the border, she changed into pregnant because of it. i am hoping they can help those women.
