When the sun burn the rest of its Hydrogen it will transform and expand. It will expand past the point the earth is in space. So it is a pretty good guess that the earth will not be doing so well after that happens. But that is about 4 to7 billion years from now.

The Earth is not going to die! It will be made new agian according to Scripture. So do not fret just focus on the Word of God as you are lead. research it and you will find the answers.

The world wont as you put it "die", as it is not a living creature... However there are many threats that pose on total destruction of our planet, it cannot be predicted.
