( this is factual) depending on/ or in spite of your views on abortion , do you think she should have had the abortion?

yes abortions have been around for a long time, not that it was legal or safe like it is now...they would use various unsterilized instruments...

I've heard that too. Best I could find online was from Rumor Mill that said there's no hard evidence (letters, visits to doctors, etc...) to support that. Though Catholic, I think that the most woman in Klara's situation - married to a violent man 23 years her senior - at least consider abortion.

More interestingly, Freakenomics postulated that the steady decrease in crime rates that began in the Eighties was a result of the legalization of abortion. I was skeptical, but the argument was fairly convincing. Some states legalized abortion prior to Roe vs. Wade legalizing it everywhere. In those states, crime rates began to fall sooner. The thinking being unwanted children are more likely to become criminals. The 18ish year gap between legalization and the fall in crime rates was because kids generally don't become criminals until late adolecence.

No, becuase everyting happens for a reason (and the only reason hitler was crazy is becuase he allowed sin to run his life...he could have been a normal leader or person if he had not allowed the sin)....if he would have been killed before birth....yes lots of jew's ( and other peoples) lives would have been saved...but then something else that is crazy or worse could have happened instead....and i dont believe in abortion...so in that case i am glad she didnt have one...besides...did they even HAVE abortion back in the late 1800's early 1900's??

I'm pro-life through and through, and I do not think she should have had an abortion. Regardless of what happened to the Jews during his reign, it IS still a part of history and should never be forgotten. It teaches (or should!) us tolerance for others who are different. I wonder what life would be like if he had been aborted.

if Adolph Hitler hadn't led the Third Reich, it would have been some other crazy nutcase. he didn't do all that stuff by himself.
as for his mother getting an abortion, no. there is probably a lot that could have been done in his childhood to keep him from turning out the way he did. (if you really want to talk about his mother preventing anything, maybe she shouldn't have gotten pregnant in the first place)

wow that would have been worth it i think, despite tha I am against abortion. HOwever God has a plan and maybe God did allow Hitler's birth for a reason. As also satan did his huge part to continue not only the birth but Hitler's horrible plans until they got doomed. Thank GOD.

In retrospect yes. I am a history buff and I have never read this. Very interesting. I know that it was a loveless marriage and that she was much younger than her husband. Abortions had to be risky back then.

No I don't. Better have that sh!t like Holocaust and WW2 happen back then. Maybe if it hadn't happened it woudl happen in the future with more chances to kill more people. Not something anyone wants to think about but now humanity is warned.
