For the Mopar haters, f*** off! That being said...
Have your dad take both out for test drives to see which one he prefers. The 300 is likely to be more plush & he can get the Hemi in it as well. I'm not saying a man in his 60s shouldn't drive a Charger, but the 300 will still give him styling & power.
If he wants to wait until 2008, the new Challenger will be going into production. ;-)

The 300 does look like a mob car overall. Being that it's a Chrysler, I'd expect the 300 to be a classy, sophisticated boulevard cruiser. They goofed it up with the army tank look. The retro front-end styling, art deco gauges, V8 rear-wheel drive power are the only things I actually like about the car. The profile is ugly and tank-like, the rear-end styling is bland-o-rific as is the interior design. Tiny side windows makes the cabin feel claustrophobic. The Hemi is a cool engine, but considering it has that expensive displacement-on-demand electronic gadgetry, the fuel mileage sucks. They are starting to have problems with the Hemi engines...I figured it was a matter of time with all that electronic gadgetry the engine has. I love the image of Chrysler cars overall, but I think this 300 was a half-assed attempt at a retro, full-size, rear-wheel drive, V8 American cruiser. I think too much of the Mercedes/German influence shows through, but that seems to be the trend with high end American cars now. Do I even need to mention the recent Chrysler commercials promoting "German engineering"?
As for the Charger, I think it's a really stylish, bad-*** looking mucle SEDAN. It has the same Generic McCookiecutter interior though. Blah. The tail lights I swear to god came straight off of the current generation Mitsubishi Galant. Need I say more? The fact they didn't bother making a coupe version is pretty much a joke. Especially when you talk to any man over age 40 that knows his classic cars. I do like the exterior of the Charger much better than the Chrysler though. I think the 300 is on the tacky side. A luxury muscle Chrysler? Excuse me while I gag. With the exception of the 4-door set up, the Charger is a more coherent design overall. Better yet is the yet to be released Challeger. The styling inside and out is perfect. It puts the new retro Mustangs to shame, and I thought those were pretty cool when they first came out. Only problem with the new Challeger is the fact that it's a portly cow. Period. It's also very expensive if it was meant to be competition for the Mustang. Awsome car though. I will spare myself the heartburn and won't even mention the pig-nosed Magnum.

Personally, I love both of the cars. I'd say the 300, sure, but a
Charger...not so much. For a man in his 60's a Charger screams mid life crisis!

I advise finding a replica of purchaser comments new vehicle instruction manual. i replaced into only finding at it to grant you an recommended answer. the education of the two vehicles did no longer somewhat grab me, even in spite of the indisputable fact that, customers did advise the Chrysler 3 hundred over the Charger. Chrysler 3 hundred new vehicle prediction replaced into familiar. The Charger's new vehicle prediction replaced into worse than familiar Your library could have a replica. we've used customers e book each and every time we've offered a clean vehicle and function by no skill been disillusioned.

if i had to choose i would go with the 300c cause if you want a luxury feeling car with power go with it. A charger is nice but i think they should have stuck with 2-doors than 4-doors, and the chargers are not an all around good car.

the 300c is classy, yes like a mobster, the charger is muscle, like the drag cars of the 60s. depends what he's going for. they both have balls. look into recalls for the 300c.

The 300C would be a perfect car for a man that age. heck, a crown vic would be ok for him, but the 300 is just so much better.

go with the 300c if he likes luxury. If he likes power and speed go with the charger. Check out this website it gives all the specs so you can decide what will be best for him.
