online... adult toys is still a private issue and online is very private... The problem is however there are so many online companies it would be hard to get into the market... One good place to sell this stuff and i cant really attest personaly because im not a girl is "parties" Alot of women i know (well not alot) goto parties with their friends and a person sell this stuff... If somehow you could combine that with online sales... im not sure how, but i bet you would make a killing... Maybe hire others to sell your stuff at parties and make more sales that way....
sorry couldnt be more helpful...
i wouldnt mind more information on your products

No, most of them aren't of age for starters.
Just google up 'Adult Toys' and look at the number of websites you would *have* to compete against, I would say you would have better luck running a small website (meaning don't pay for a big hosting plan) and selling them mostly yourself through parties, local stores (tattoo shops often let you place catalogs for adult toys in their stores, mine does anyway. You could also market them to strip joints in your area, and give a free product to someone who holds a party where you attend to promote the toys - have them find your buyers by asking their friends and family to come to the party.)
Frankly, I think whenever you try the kind of job such as selling Avon, Adult Toys, etc that it is a lot of marketing skills, alot of footwork and networking with friends and family, and usually you end up sinking more of your money into it than you do getting money out of all the work. Some people do good though, it really depends on how many people you know, your area, the need for the product, and how flooded the market already is with people selling that product.
The biggest trick is to undercut as many other sellers as you can.
Good luck with it!

I purchase online and through a private consultant. I do not like purchasing at the stores. RE: Most of the adult stores are in seedy neighborhoods and somebody might see what you are buying and could follow you. Or as in myself I am in a professional field (Medicine|) and i am always nervous I might be recognized. I do like privacy. The downfalls to buying online or from magazines: false advertising or your perception is different from what the product really is.

Personally... I would need to see/feel the product before buying. As you know, the good toys can cost between $50 - $150... so it's important to know the texture & feel of them (if you know what I mean). Lotions are a different story. I guess you could buy those online.... but I personally like it when I can see/test a sample for myself. Maybe you could offer samples of the products or a small swatch (ex: nasa foam for the temper-pedic mattress) so you can touch and feel it. I would probably order online in that situation. Hope the info is helpful. Good luck with your enterprise.

Of course you wouldn't be wasting your time selling your products online. The percentage of people that shop online these days is high, so I think you'd do great selling over the web. Personally, I like to touch, look, and feel the product before I purchase it, but I'm not a big fan of giving my CC# to anyone over the computer. If you have a legit business going on, go for it!!! Good luck and let me know how everything turns out!

Personally I would not buy anything like that on line how ever, on-line is probably your best bet that is they way of the world these day people like the convince of being able to shop from the comfort of their own home, it makes life a lot simpler then having to run from store to store all the time no matter what the product is so go on-line baby

Some people aren't comfortable buying things online, but then again some people do. I personally wouldn't because I don't feel comfortable buying online. I buy adult toys/lotions in actual stores and it doesn't embarrass me because they are the ones selling the stuff and they don't know you.

I would feel better going to a store rather than ordering these things online. First of all, at the store you can get your hands on the product and see if it is right for you (in this business exactitude is a must), and secondly I wouldn't want my postman to think I was a pervert (even if I am).

I like to physically see the stuff. The size and texture of it. You can see if you're getting your monies worth more so. But a lot of people are too shy to go into the stores. They'd rather buy in the privacy of their own home. I think you'd do alright...just remember you have a lot of competition out there! Did you ever think about getting into the Passions or Pure Romance parties?

It depends on the person I think. A lot of people are afraid or embarrassed to go to a store, and would rather buy online. My wife and I, however, prefer the store, because you can see things and have a better idea of what to expect.
