If it's real sterling silver or gold, get a small pot and put 1 cup of water and 4 table spoon of alcohol. Wait till it boils then add the your goods. lower the heat and move your stuff around frequently!!!! If it's custom jewelry buy jewelry cleaner........

u mean to clean your ear rings?
You can jsut take them to a jewelry store and they clean it for you
If you want to do it yourself there are many solutions you can buy off the shelf to clean jewelry. "SIlvo" is the best for cleaning both gold & silver. Baking Soda is also a good way to clean jewelry. Just add water & leave ear rings to soak over night.
If you really wanna play cheap, just use toothpaste :-)

I have a sonic jewelry cleaner, and it does a great job. Other than that I would recommend a good alcohol bath to get rid of any germs that may be on them so that your ears don't get an infection.

When you first get your ears pierced they give you ear antiseptic to clean ears of bacteria and infection. You can use that on the earrings too. That's what I do, and it works.
