Wealthly liberal comentators wish to serve as a voice for the poor, yet ironically they have limited direct experience with them. Waving hello to the janitor on the way out of the office just doesn't cut it.

In the Clinton years I had to pay at the end of the year. The most $1200 on less than $35000 combined income . Last year I got back $800 but because jobs are more plentiful, I got a better job two years ago and now make $50000 a year alone. So yeah I do get tired of hearing how the economy is bad and that only the rich got tax breaks.

If you and your husband make a "combined" $40,000 a year....you don't make enough money to really pay taxes. You probably got everything back....and your would have for many many years, even under Clinton. However....someone who is middle class, single, has no children, like myself - making $60,000 a year - I get completely screwed. I 33% of my check is gone before I see it, and I get nothing back at the end of the year. So....if you are poor or rich....you get tax cuts, but the middle class is completely screwed....by the time I pay taxes....you and your husband probably make the same amount as me.

Well you must have ways of getting back money I don't have. I make about 80,000 a year and do not claim myself until the end of the year and still have to pay more taxes. I think you are dead wrong somewhere or are just not telling the truth. Everyone knows the tax cuts were for the wealthiest and you do to.

The media does not tell positive stories, because no one wants to hear a positive story. You might agree with Bush, but that does not make the deficit go away. Tax cuts and increased spending does not work.

I personally know a lot of self-made multi-millionaires who were born into very ordinary circumstances. They made it by working hard, educating themselves, and investing a little out of each paycheck, either in securities or in building a business. You can do it too if you have the guts. That's what America is all about.

Honey, your not rich !!! so why does that evern pertain to you? they are talking about RICH, you wouldnt have any idea because you are middle class, so you are not Rich, and your not poor, you get a good tax return for the same reason and I am sure you have deductions to boot, other wise it wuld be under 5k.
your question should be revolked, as it simply does not allpy to middle class people as your self.

i agree with you. i get a bigger tax break every year as well and i don't earn much either. everyone tries to bash bush because the media is only exaggerating things and dwell on the negative things. i've learned not to trust the media a long time ago. the media would not publicize anything positive about the republicans.

I'd rather we cut the discretionary funds in use by congress so then everyone can get a bigger tax credit without increasing the national debt.

Oh yeah, our schools are horrible, so your kids can go to private school, so save up for that too.
