I was at school, reading on the carpet, crying histerically, my dad and uncle worked there, my teacher did give a crap about it and kept teaching and making us read and the phone lines were tied up so I had no way of reaching my family, that was the worst day of my life, I am scard for life because of it, I remember school was a full day and my family didn't pull me out early and when I got home I sat on the couch crying histerically while watching kids in the middle east parading with candy and burning American flags. *tears* *crying* I WANT REVENGE!

Both of my children had a doctors appointment that day so I kept them off of school for the morning. I was sitting on the couch watching the news. As soon as I found out what was going on I called my husband at work. Nobody there knew yet and they turned on the tv. Then the kids and I walked to the doctors and watched the coverage from there. After their appointment I took them up to school and everyone thought I was out of my mind because all of the other parents were taking their children out. I don't know why I didn't....I just didn't feel like I should or that I had to. Anyhow....that's my story. Take care and I hope you have an amazing day!

I was working as a volunteer computer worker with the Scarborough & District Citizens Advice Bureau (UK). When I got home lunchtime I had a dozen things to do other than watch TV, but my wife had gone to work and left a message saying turn on the TV. I did, at about 1 p.m. UK time. At 6 p.m. UK time I was still stuck in front of the TV, transfixed and horrified, wondering if I was watching some grim movie. I'll not forget it.

I woke up to the news on the radio and watched TV for about an hour with my roommates and then went to university for my class "The Law and Ethics of Media." During break the first tower fell and when we returned, our professor told us to go home and watch the news because we will learn more from that then he could ever teach us that day. I felt so sick to my stomach. When I went to work that evening at a restaurant there were fighter jets flying by all night and it felt like the end of the world.

At college, and when I walked into the library I saw a whole bunch of people gathered aroud the big screen tv in the back. When I saw what they were watching I thought it was a movie, and when I asked the guy next to me what movie this was he told me it was not a movie but live news from NYC I was dumb struck and filled with horror.

I was at work. There is a TV studio down the hall from me and someone came running into our department and said "A plane crashed into one of the twin towers in New York". I and my colleagues raced around the corner to see what was happening and we were just in time to see the other plane hit. I cried in disbelief at the enormity of it all.

I found out about it on the radio on my way to work. Once there, we just kept checking the news. It was awful.

When I was a kid I remember the Challenger exploding, I was home watching on tv.... that was bad too.

I called into work sick......saw it as it was happening on television from home.......should've just gone to work as they promptly shut down Toronto's downtown core.......we had lots of stranded Americans as customers over the next couple of days waiting for air travel to be re-established.

No one among us will ever forget that day....it felt like the world was ending.
