Each pregnacy is dif for every woman. I mean that literally, what I went through with my 1st child was totally dif from when I had my second child. There are really no set rules or guidelines as to how you should or should not feel.
Your body is going through some awesome changes, and will be doing this over and over again until months after the baby is born. Everything is natural except bleeding. Some women are even known to "spot" a little here and there thru pregnancy. It should always be addressed by your OB, but usually unless you are really bleeding it's nothing to worry about and you should just take it easy.
Right now you say you are in your 1st Trimester and feeling full all the time. This is YOUR bodies response to a foriegn body in your system. This is what causes "Morning Sickness" in some women. Your hormones are in an uproar, and your system detects something wierd going on that it is not used to.
You still must eat though and eat properly, this is very important to you and your baby! Try eating smaller amounts more frequently. Instead of eating 3 or 4 meals a day, instead eat 7 or 8 small meals. Like in the morning, get up and move around a bit, do some light housework and then go eat a couple of pieces of Whole Wheat toast, maybe with some jam on it. Drink a glass of milk. Then say and hour or so later, try eating some cereal. It's not so much the quantity of what you are eating, it's the quality!
Eat lots of whole grains, this will also help with digesting. Many women especialy in the later months have a hard time with bowel movements ( due to baby pushing all your organs up under your ribcage) lots and lots of green leafy Veggies too will help. Fish is a wonderful source of protien, but because of all the bad stuff in our water systems these days you should eat no more than 2 servings per week while pregnant.
Drink lots of milk, juice and WATER! I know you will have to urinate a lot, baby will do a number on your bladder! But it is important for your health and the babies that you get plenty of GOOD fluids! Cut out as much soda, coffee , tea and so on as you possibly can. And if you must have an occasssional, soda or cup of coffee make sure it is Decaf! Caffine is really bad for babies. DO NOT drink anything that has artificial sweetners in it! Really bad for babies and can cause birth defects! And I am sure nobody has to tell you this, but I am going to anyway... NO BOOZE!! Fetal alcohol sydrome is an awful thing to do to your baby! And is NOT curable!
Stay clear of junk foods as they are only there to feed a craving, they have no nutritional value and will just make you fat! They also cause you to fell lazy or lethargic.
Get plenty of exercise, I know at times you won't even want to get out of bed much less exercise. But it's important to you and the baby and will help make your Labor go much easier.
I hope these suggestions help. Remember though, you are NOT eating for two!! You are the vessel that is supplying ALL the nutrients to a newly forming human being. Make sure they are good things so that you have a happy and very healthy baby!
Good luck to you and your little one!
