Why does Hollywood feel it has to cash on this Tragedy. It was a nightmare when it happenned and I remember how sick I felt after this happenned(and still do when I think of )Maybe some may feel its a tribute to all the people it affected. But Honestly I think it too soon for this movie, the wounds are still fresh.Hollywood shouldnt be able to cash in on (for a fair amount of time at least)on other peoples pain.I know I couldnt get myself to watch this movie, but I do hope Hollywood will donate all the profits this movie may make to help with survivers families.I hope I dont sound preachy ,but I just dont want to relive this over and over (which I do whenever an ad is run for this Movie. To do a documentary on TV is one thing ,but to cash in on a movie is appalling.

It sickens me as well. To make a movie like this, to remind people of the heartache and terror this country suffered is a crime against humanity. How can they even imagine that America has forgotten? Everyday you look at the newspaper headlines, you are reminded why we were initially in this war, payback for 9/11. So what if 9/11 is not a constant topic of conversation anymore; it doesn't mean people have forgotten. Just because the flags are not hanging year round doesn't mean that we don't think about what happened.

To cash in on 9/11 is the real horror against humanity.

Maybe it's just that want the American people to remember.
It seems like so many have forgotten already. I'm with you though, as far as the sickening feeling. I was watching the news at the time, and of course it was interrupted. It was just a few minutes later that I saw the second plane crash. I sat there absolutely stunned.
I hope that we NEVER forget what happened on 9-11-2001.
Regardless of whatever other crap is going on the world, we NEED to remember.
However, I will not pay to see the movie. There's too much in my own mind to remember. I don't need a movie to remind me.

Although Hollywood is making every possible effort to corrupt it, cinema is still a valid art form and film makers have all the right to express their views of the incident, just as Picasso did it after Guernica. I've heard the movie about the plane dealt with the tragedy in a very tasteful way, and if Oliver Stone does the same I see nothing wrong with it.

You and I have both the right not to watch the movie if we don't feel like it.

I think it's too early, really, for a movie like that, but if I remember right, it's being directed by Oliver Stone, who is an excellent director, and it's not about what happened per se, rather it's the story of two specific firefighters who were killed in the World Trade Center that day.

It is still to fresh and so many of us (me included) were there and experienced so much horrible things that day. I personally do not want to see a movie where we know what happens and nothing that you can do will change what actually happened.

It is sad and upsetting that Hollywood feels the need to exploit that day.

I don't think it will be as successful as they think it will. Even though I like the idea of it as a tribute, I couldn't bear to watch it. I even get choked up when I see the trailers at the movies.

Nicholas Cage says he isn't going to see the movie either.

Guess it touched him really deeply.

Lots of people are still healing from it.
