If somebody said they knew the exact day that you would die, would you want to know? Why or why not? Do you think you would value the rest of your life more, or live in fear of the coming date?

It would give me the excuse to do all the things I want to do, and I would know then that I had lived a full and happy life. When it came to the day I would die, I would lay in bed and get very drunk and smoke 40 cigarettes .

I would love to know when I am going to die... It would probably make me stay alive longer because I'd think, wow this is a bad situation... oh well only another ** years till I die... Would be cool :)
I don't fear death at all so it would not freak me out. I would just want to know when it is so I could prepare everything for it :)

then i could plan my life - what i would/ could do for the rest of my days
i think i'd value the rest of my life more
i'd like to spend the last few days with my family and friends
as i'm quite busy most of the time
p.s. perhaps it is because i have some health problem that couldn't be figured out by doctors

How weird. I just had this conversation, yesterday! Yes, I would want to know. I think if I knew my expiration date I would live my life very differently. I would be nicer and more adventurous. I wouldn't waste time worrying about everything.

I really don't have a fear of death and i don't want to know when I die either. i will know when i die.

I would like to know so I can make sure my life ins is paid up, and make sure my husband and family aren't around to see it. It could be pretty gorey.
