why can't people just ask normal questions in the teen & preteen catagory. every thing that i answer is about sex or something along those lines. whats your opinion?

it is not that it is not normal it is just why don't more teens ask questions out of that type of genra.

You are right! There r alot of questions about sex in this category BUT alot of teens are going thru that stage in their lives that they r totally curious about anything remotely leading to sex! So since its all they think about- its all they can ask! It doesnt really bother me- I just move on to the next question!

But the truth is the hormones really rage in the teens, its the most intense time for sexual hormones, both for males and females, so its pretty natural. Plus in the teen years people do not have as much experience controlling, or channeling sexual energy, or even have outlets for it, as adults do. Plus there is a lot of honest curiosity from people who biologically can't help but think about sex, but don't really know the facts. So its pretty natural.

teens don't seem to have much more on their minds than sex now a day. And when you add that to their inability to talk to their parents one on one about sex, you end up with nothing but sex questions in a place like this. I also suspect that some of them (ok, probably alot of them) think it's funny to post up certain sex questions just for fun. Kids thrive on reactions, so the more reaction they get for dumb sex questions, the more they're going to post.

teens and preteens are lectured that sex is a bad thing so constantly, its normal to be curious about it. while some things may be a maturity issue, other things are perfecly normal. asking questions is the best way to learn!

i agree and its kids asking then i thought this forum was for the parents of teens and preteens to ask questions about their kids not for kids to ask how do i have sex or how do i give head

I think that teenagers are just discovering their sexuality, and want to experiment, and some go a bit too far, and need guidance on what to do next. Some are just full of questions and curious, so they come on here and ask.

i dont agree cuz preteens & teens r curious they ask qeustions they discover they try to do things well when they ask question we need to help them out so they want make mistakes

everything you answer is about sex because this is a teen site and TEENS are generaly curious about things they are clueless in. if you don't like it, get out of this area.

Just teens are becoming less and less in touch with their parents.
soo they turn to a false kind of parent ( yahoo answers )
This is where they turn to solve their problems
I think it is pathetic
