Where can I find Tree Slices for a path in my garden?

I'm looking for real or fake tree slices, wide enough to act as stepping stones, to make a path in my garden? I thought it would look nice with river rock filled in around them.

You might want to contact a tree surgeon. Many times they pull down trees and have to chip up the remains. Offer to come to their site and either haul away a old tree or cut out a section for making into path stones.

Remember that these will be 'unsealed' or bare wood, and may not last long unless you seal them. Look for a good poly sealer, like you would use for a deck.
