i have been on birth control pills for 5 years. i just changed to the ortho evra patch about 8 months ago. this month, every week my patch has been falling off like at least 3 days before i have to replace it..it falls off, becuase of massive swimming. do u think i could still get pregant, becuase i been on birth control for so long. thanks

Yes you can be pregnant. I got pregnant on the patch and I know many other women that got pregnant on it. The corners tend to peal away from the body and the woman wearing it doesn't get the full does of hormones. The patch is the least effective birth control there. I would seriously consider something else.

no, I don't think you have to worry. The patch needs to be off for about 7 days to leave your system but if you're really fertile, I'd be careful anyways. Maybe if your patch falls off, use protection just to be safe

I was on the patch for 8 mos when I got pregnant- I would not reccommend it.
