If you are in highschool, jeans or a skirt that you feels sexy and comfortable in, and then a lightweight t-shirt that has no logo or words, but is fitted and well designed.
If in middle school, jean shorts or jeans that you are comfortable in, and a cute baby-tee in colors you look good in.
Wear nice jewelry, but not too much, and wear a little lip gloss to look more feminine.

I'm not really a dressy kind of girl either, but I usually wear a nice skirt (not 1 thats too dressy).
But other times when I want to look nice, I just wear a pair of jeans (I love jeans) and a nice top.

well....i don't know what to tell you. because i don't dress the way YOU dress. i am a girly girl. so the only thing that i can tell you to wear will be the stuff i wear...mini skirts and girly tops(pink, peachish, baby blue, red, or orange). i DONT know. if you are a tomboy, then just dress the way you see BOYS dressing at your school.[thats ALL i can tell ya!]

a nice fitted top and destroyed jeans (break out of that tomboy-ish stage) it will do a world of good!!!

Wear what you would everyday... because on the first day many first impressions will be made. If people think difrently of you you may make the wrong friends..

By first day of school, do you mean Kindergarten? If so, wear whatever Mom picks out for you.
Otherwise, wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

jeans and a t shirt just be comfortable ( even though this is comeing from a girl with fewer friends then anyone else in the world)

what you should were is somthing tight like try wearing some nice tight pants with a jersey or a nice shirt muscel shirt it would look great you will look sporty and hott
