No, there's an old saying 'sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me" How a man can destroy practically his entire country for a name calling incident that probably lasted a minute, is beyond my comprehension. There are always going to be idiots who call people names but you don't pay attention to the morons, you shrug it off and go about your business. The french cup team needed Zidane to be in the free kick at then end and his ejection from the game jeopardized it and then possibly ruined the chances for France. When you let someone distract you from your goal, they win. The truly tough people in this world do not let idiots get to them. Where I grew up, Italian kids picked on Polish kids. Polish kids would make fun of Czechoslovakian kids. Czechoslovakian kids would pick on German kids. By the time you got to high school 99% of everyone got past that in their development. The 1% that didn't get past it it were stupid and ignorant. If I were French I would be mad at Zidane

it's not proper anyway. but then there must be something so terrible that makes a great player like Zidane did that to Materazzi, especially in the last 10 minutes of his career in football. And I don't blame him for that - don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that doing what zidane did is correct too - coz I think I'll do the same if I were him.

Definitely NOT... thought I understand why he did it.

I respect him for what he had done both on the pitch as well as those he did off pitch. I am sure there are million of kids out there watching him, these kids may not fully understand why he did that. The last thing he wanna see is kids around football field head butting their opponent.

Zidane dovrebbe perdere la sua sfera dorata e vietarsi per giocare tutto il calcio per un anno.
