Wanted to let everyne know that the fda is about to recall any childrens medicine with CARBINOXAMINE in it. My daughter went to the doctor Friday for allergies and the doctor perscribed her some medicing with this in it and the pharmacy (walgreens) refused to fill it. I looked it up at fda.gov and they are linking it to deaths in children under the age of 2.

Medicine my daughter had with it in it:

Pediatex
Xira-hist (doctor gave this to her when she was 3 weeks old)
Ana-hist

The fda has not pulled it yet but they are going to.

Mine was taking Zyrtec... I hope that is safe!!

I can't beleive a doc prescribed something like that to a 3 week old baby!! My doc wouldn't do anything til he was 1! He just told me to use saline nose spray! SCARY!
