Reasons to attack Syria or Iran are numerous:
A. Both nations sponsor terrorist groups that have stated their only goal is the destruction of Israel.
B. Iran's President (not the mullahs that rule) has said that Israel should be "wiped off the map".
C. Terrorists have invaded Israel and bombed their civilians, not military targets.
D. These nations are working together towards nuclear technology and delivery systems.
It all boils down to self-defense. Israel was not looking for a fight. But they will defend themselves strongly. They're fighting for their existance. The Islamic people of that region believe that Israel should not exist. Soon the UN (mostly Islamic leaders) will declare this as well. This conflict is a religous war. Plain and simple.
Tons of reason. Let's roll.

You are looking through the wrong end of the telescope!
Israel is responsible for all the problems in the middle east.
If America would stop showing favoritism and address the problems evenhandedly, progress could be made.
However, America will never become a fair broker because the Zionist have a solid foothold in it's government, and would never pass legislation that would adversely affect Israel.
The Arab world knows this and so do a minority of Americans.
The Arabs only have two options: Live a life of subjugation on reservations like the American Indians, or fight. According to the Arabs, the first is not an option.....so it is all out war!
God help us all! America can not even handle Iraq. What the heck would be the situation if all the Arabs unite against us?

It's just a matter of time. Israel is not going to ignore Iran much longer, especially considering that their president has openly threatened to wipe Israel from the map and that they are trying to become nuke capable.
As far as Syria, if Israel wants to put ground troops in Iran, the fastest way would be through Syria. It's just a simple matter of geography and politics.
Wait for it. It's gonna happen.

They already have a reason, but the rest of the world would condemn them for attacking them. This is part of the problem with terrorism, the people that are behind it are behind the scenes. Since they are not out in the open declaring war, they tend to get away with it. Too much of the world seems to believe that Syria and Iran have nothing to do with it.

the only shown protection antagonistic to a nuclear first strike is the skill for a nuclear 2d strike. Mutual certain destruction has traditionally been an sensible skill for deterrence. Israel probably has nukes. there is major info of this because the 1980's. Iran will probably advance nukes of their own inspite of each of the sanctions, and diplomatic hand-wringing by using the U.S. and Western international locations. If Israel bombs Iran, before they advance nukes, it must be difficult to foretell the end result on middle-East stability. honestly, such assaults may further radicalize Iran at a time even as Islamic radicalism is perceived as unpopular in Iran, and at a considered necessary degree even as the U.S. may opt to manage a lifelike Iran as Iraq further implodes. On stability, it does no longer look positive to the U.S. for Israel to launch a pre-emptive strike. Granting them flyover rights may go away U.S. fingerprints on an operation that it must be to the individuals' income to distance themselves from. Bombing without good human intelligence is likewise fraught with peril. except you comprehend each of the objectives with absolute actuality, and may make certain that they are going to all be destroyed, any airstrike that isn't any longer completely finished will bring about disastrous outcomes.

I don't think they'll have to go looking for a reason, as Syria or Iran will probably provide them with a reason. Them Muzzie jihadists aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, and the odds are they'll do something stupid.

No, they should not attack either nation, let alone Lebanon. But they are desperately looking for a reason to attack them. Let's hope the U.N. can get this mess settled before it's all out war

More power to them if they attack both countries. There has to be a stop to all of these radical Muslims. By the way, I was born in Iran, but I am a Jew-

As soon as they start putting ground troups on Arab soil, all Arab nations will rise up against Isreal. (Also as stated in the Bible) That will cause the US to HAVE to get involved. Isreal is a very strong Nation, but does not want to spread things too thin. Kicking one Arab countries butt at a time should do just fine.

If you count the fact that both of those countries wish to utterly destroy Israel, then yes. However, Israel just wants to exist, not to expand. They don't want to cause a war.
