Larry Bird without a doubt. Better team leader, better defensive player. Better team player. Played during a much more difficult era of the game. Jordan played during a real down time for the NBA. The league was filled with less than outstanding teams during the '90's. The '80's has a number of great teams and great players. Bird, Magic, and Kareem stood taller than all of them, even Jordan.

Jordan, Larry was nice but leading the league in points several times, nba all defensive team 5 times (i think) only 4 players in league history avg 31points,7Rebounds,6Assists a game for a whole season. Oscar Robertson,Jerry West,Lebron James & MJ.. I think that rests the case

Jordan easily. Larry was a good player and had some very good teammates around him. MJ was on whole different level as an individual player. MJ was better on defense ans could score easily and he could also win a game almost single handed.

As a New Jersey Net fan I can't pick Larry Bird since he's on the Boston Celtics so for your question the answer is MJ but personalily the best player is ........Jason Kidd

I love them both. Jordan is the best to ever play the game, and I would say that Bird is 3rd right behind Magic Johnson. Both legends of the game.

im all about larry bird cuz hes white and u dont see alot of white ****** doin they **** like that and plus he made as many points as mj so yea i like both but i think larry bird got this one
