pulling the wings off the insect will die anyway but be in torment where stepping on it will be instant death. human it would be death by gas or death by lethal injection

An insect may suffer for some time after its wings have been ripped from its body, whereas crushing the insect under foot would appear to kill it quickly. The decision of how to kill a thing is of great concern for most people, except possibly sociopaths who lack a capacity for empathy. Most would choose to kill a thing quickly rather than watch it suffer. If the decision came down to either choosing to kill a thing in a brutal fashion or not to kill at all, most people would opt not to kill rather than torture a creature.

That is like asking, What is the difference between dropping a safe on someone, and pulling their legs off. Killing is not killing. There is the kill (dropping the safe) and the the killing (where you make it last longer and leave a deeper sense of pain to the victim). The decision how to kill is often harder then the decision to kill itself. Do you just want to get it over with or do you want it to last. The truth is that while some people may be able to kill it is found that most are unable to make it last as it also affects them physiologically.

Killing a bug provides many benefits such as sanitation, cleanliness, and preserving your belongings. Typically, a bug spray or pesticide is great at doing this, and does so with efficiency and effectiveness.

It is malicious murder when a bugs wings are pulled off of it. See, a person has to spend energy, time, and thought to catch a bug. Once they do, and then proceed to intently pull off it's wings, then it is a well thought out process.

Stepping on bugs ... well, accidental ... umm just standing there and stepping for the killing aspect??? Well, that's border line malicious and further information's needs to be clarified to weather or not it is psychotic behavior.

pulling ther wings off vs stepping on it? Torture vs. accidental? pulling wings off an insect, is torture : the characteristics of a sick and twisted mind, a personality disorder where the killer has no compassion or cennection for any living thing. today it's insects, next year...women. These are the actions that make a serial killer

Pulling the wings of an insect is a gross, cruel, torturous, premeditated act. I don't think I would want to know that person.

death is death. however torturing something first prolongs the agony in which it spends it's final moments . sadists enjoy the demeaning and degrading abuse of others, it's not normal to enjoy killing even an insect. will i kill a roach or fly yes. but i never torture and i don't take pleasure in it. i guess I'm not an evolved enough person to share my home with a horde of bugs.

Killing is killing. But disecting a body piece by piece is cruel.

If I were to be killed, I would rather it be instant. That way, I feel as little pain as possible. I wouldn't want someone pulling off my arms, legs, torso, head, etc.

So, unless you really don't care, there is a difference.

Killing other creatures unfortunately is part of nature. The joy some derive from torturing other creatures and making them suffer is intolerable and in humans is a true sign of dimentia.

Only in the sense that if you are going to kill something, you should not torture it and prolong its agony, but do it as humanely as possible.
