Some are easier to answer, so sure they get more answers. Or sometimes there are many different answers for the same question. More questions get answers if they appeal to a broader group & people are more familiar with the subject. If I don't feel I know a lot about science or medicine I'll stay away from those topics. Now ask me about dealing with people, & I can answer a lot of questions. LOL

Some questions take too much research or typing for the average person. Other questions are just plain stupid or outside the scope of the answerers knowledge. People like to keep answers simple or answer questions that are easy to look up.

That depends of the type of questions you ask. If you ask question on America, Sex, Israel etc., will get dozens of answers, where as specific questions requiring proper guidance, and search will receive less answers.

Most questions here are pretty stupid. I try to only answer the ones that are really people looking for an answer and not trying to get people to chat with or start religious arguments. You'll probably get hundreds of answers to your question.

Stupid questions get none and intelligen answers geta ton. It also depends on the question and the type of question, Some people that answer questions can be real a**holes. Others, like me, can be very helpful and full of information.

I believe some questions are easier to answer than others, that's all. How are you going to answer a question about something you don't know anything about?

Some questions just do not get the readers interest. The way the header is worded is the catch.
for example,
My kitten sleeps a lot in the day is this normal?
------------OR------------
OMG I think my cat is dying can you help?
which catches your attention?
