No you shouldn't. What you should do before you publish it in the News Paper is make a copy sign and date it, put into an envelope and mail it back to your self. You should not open the envelope but place it in a safe place. It's an old copy-rite trick. That way if anyone including the News Paper distributes it to someone else or reprints it without your permission you have a law suit for stealing your property. The Judge will open the letter in court which will prove it was your original work. It's just a thought but you may want to consider it.

It is always advisable to publish your contact details for whatever you publish in the newspaper. It better to give your e-mail address to see the response rather than publishing your mobile number. When you publish your poem, interested publisher or any author can contact you through your e-mail address. Giving your mobile number is bit risky as you can get call from any individual which can raise a question of your personal security.

When submitting stuff to a newspaper they generally ask for some type of contact information to verify that it was really you who sent in the poem to be published. If your worried about them printing your e mail address and cell phone # just make it clear to them that the contact information is for the paper only and isn't to be redistributed elsewhere.
