If you had the week of Dec 24 through Jan 2 off and could go anywhere in the US? Why would you go there? We want to plan a trip and are having a hard time deciding where to go

I would love to be inAustria/Germany during the Christmas holidays. Atmosphere is great. Christmas trees originated in Germany.

if i had the vacation, i will go count down at time square, NYC on Dec 31 and other days travel around NYC like LIberty Statue, Brookelin Bridge, 5th Avenue.

Go somewhere like the US Virgin Islands.....warm, sunny and far away from ugly cold winter. St. John has a large National Park, and you can swim, snorkel or dive your time away, then party at night. The water is warm and turquoise. Book now for cheap(er) flights.

I hear that nashville and the Grand Old Opry at christmas is incredible. I also hear that Myrtle Beach, SC at christmas is great if you love shows, etc.

Disneyland or Disneyworld if I were going somewhere with kids. They do up the holidays so nice. ;) If I were going with just my bf, I'd go to NYC. :)
