I like getting toothpaste and stuff like that there. Can't beat getting a whole tube of Crest for a buck!

There are some really good values at some... are you talking about a strict dollar store or one that sells things in incriments of a dollar? I like the Dollar General, but I think they should charge even dollar incriments after tax, not before.

I am not a regular shopper but I do go every once and a while and when I do they get me every time I walk around and just pick up stuff that I really do not need but it is only a dollar so by the time I get to the check out I'm looking at like $40.

the ones that do not like the dollar stores are the owners of stores that sell similar merchandise, but for a lot more than a dollar. I love them!

I love it. Especially for things I'm going to throw away anyway. Like painting trays and drop cloths and camping supplies. And when my niece and nephew were little and HAD to get something at the mall, I usually took them to the dollar store and bought whatever they wanted. That way, when they broke it in a few weeks or lost it in a day, it didn't matter! And they loved it.

I myself, love our little "New" dollar store!! I think for quick, fast, items, this little store, is the greatest!! I'm from the "Big City" and places, like this were everywhere, where, i'm from, so it was nice not only to find out we live in one of the "Richest" parts of town, My Mom, thought that was so funny, because, where we're from, this would definately not be considered a rich part of town.. However, our Little Buck Store, sells some rather nice little gift items, being that this is the "Rich" part of town. Ha!-Ha! And, its quite a blessing having it conveniently close, to all of us, and to have it sell pretty good items, for very reasonably priced, deals. How lucky could, we get!!! And, it gets very hot,in the summers here, and very cold in the winters, so anything close to home for everyone in our town, considers that a blessing, to be able to stay out of the "Extreme" wheather differences, during our winters and summers.. We're high desert.. I love the Buck-Stores, sorry to pop, your "Bubble", but I have to disagree with you. However, there are some on the other sides of town, that aren't near as nice, as ours, close to home!! So, we're fortunate, to have a bit nicer one........

I don't really like cheap stores....even though my parents used it a lot while I was growing up....But I'm just not a cheap girl I guess! I like nice, LONG-LASTING things...that won't fall apart on you the next day! I've had lots of experience with that in the past haha!

ICK... and the funny thing is that you can usually find the same stuff cheaper (99 cents or less) at a normal store.
