Today is my 2nd anniversary with my new husband and we have both been working so much that we haven't planned anything. We are on a tight budget and I would love advice on something to do for him this evening. We get along great and I want to try and pull something together that he would love. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try a romantic picnic. Blanket, you two, nature, etc. In Chicago, where I live there are many amazing public spaces for free.
You can buy the food from Whole Foods or some other nice grocery store without having to prep anything.
Choose your favorite meal, or an adaptation of the meal from your wedding.
A nice bottle of wine, or your favorite drinks.
Perhaps bring a letter reflecting on the positive aspects of the last two years of your marriage.
All for less than 40.00!

If it was my anniversary and I was on a tight budget I'd get some bubble bath and take a bath with him. It could be a lot of fun

Do somethng to make it memorable like marriage.Come home a bit early and decorate ur bedroom with flowers n fragnance as u got on ur 1st night.Put best of ur clothes that u have before ur husband comes and prepare something that is favourite of ur husband and u as well.Somethng he wud go mad for.Have a gud dinner then go for a long drive .Come back .And dress sexily and seduce him..................................

A nice candlelit meal, sensual music (Barry White), flowers, there should be dancing, perhaps a light wine.

make him a romantic dinner with candles and run some warm water also with candles.light the candles.when he is ready for the warm water and when he gets in rub his shoulders and try to make him moan out your name.after that show him what your all about in the bedroom.and make sure that he whispers out your name in your ear softly.after ya'll did that rub hisw backside and make sure he feels it really good.
