You bet. I got thrown in twice, once when I was 19, and then 22 days before my 21st birthday.

Sure you can be thrown into prison, but they don't keep you for a long time. My cousin gets into trouble a lot with drinking and drugs and they keep him in jail for 1-3 days. They send him off with a warning. He's only 18.

Beer is totally not worth it. Not only can you be thrown into jail , You will start yourself down the wrong road. Drinking before your brain is fully done growning can really stunt your emotional maturity. If you wish to remain a little kid , all your life, then go ahead drink up. To bad you won't grow up.

It depends on where you were drinking it.
If a minor is in their parent/guardian's home, they cannot be fined/ticketed/arrested for drinking.
A minor can only be fined/ticketed/arrested if he/she is in possession of alcohol in public or in a motor vehicle.
It also depends on the officer and exactly how old you are. When my sister was almost 21 (as in a few months away from it), she was caught drinking with her 21/22 year old friends. The officer checked all of their ID's and when he saw her birthdate and how close she was to 21, he gave her a sobriety test and said he wouldn't ticket her, as long as she stopped drinking right then. They hadn't been drinking long, so no one was drunk.
Anyway, some states have different laws, so you should look up laws for your state.

relies upon upon your body chemistry and the way briskly you drink the beers. in case you drink a huge kind of beers in a short era of time (say 15 to 20 in below 20 minuets) you received't might want to be stricken about throwing up, you'll die from alcohol poisoning.

If you get caught yes.
A couple kids in my chem class had a party and got the police called on them. The ones that were drunk spent the night in jail, or till their parents bailed them out. After that they got fined pretty heavily.
Best way to avoid that?
Don't drink.

No. Most likely, if you are caught underage, they will confiscate your beverage, and write you a ticket. It's possible, if you are REALLY young, that they will take you to the station and call your parents. Usually it's a slap on the wrist.
Of course, state laws are different everywhere.

You're more likely to be given a ticket and told to appear in a juvenile court in front of a judge who will likely order you into treatment and possibly a fine and or community service.

No. In New Jersey you can get a ticket ( a summons) and will have to go to court. The judge will sentence you to any or all of the following:
1. revoke driving/motor vehicle privledges
2. community service
3. fine/penalty ($$$)
