Actually, it's not fair to dub all Muslims the same. There are plenty of Muslims who are decent people, but unfortunately, the ones we hear the most about are the fringe elements. This is an interesting question, actually. I once read a magazine interview with Karen Armstrong, who is a religious scholar and former nun from England. I remember her mentioning in the interview that if Bush's and bin Laden's religious views weren't so different, they would probably get on quite well, since they're so similar. And it's true. The Muslim fundamentalists and Bushists are really not that different, because they're both just groups of religious fanatics vying for power.
