i recently went on a ride like that to i'm 16 weeks pregnant. I was not worried i already feel movement i have felt the baby move after that. It is pretty protected in the womb by the water and it's deep in the body. I think it's okay. As long as you have no cramps spotting or whatever after all is wELL. The more along you get like past 6 months i would not do anything that can jar you because the baby is bigger has less room and is not as protected. ASK YOUR DOCTOR if you have reason to think it could have hurt the baby. People tend to over react i know women who still went horseback riding and thing people say are HARMFUL while pregnant. You like i already knew the sign says not to but, honestly if i thought it would have been a DANGER i never would have went on it was a moving theater thing with motion seats i rode.

probably not a great idea. The baby is going to get moved around as you move, but you could cause bruising by riding amusement park rides when pregnant. Didn't the signs say anthing about you shouldn't ride if you have a heart condition, are pregnant, etc.
I don't mean to be rude, but that was irresponsible and I can't believe your family didn't stop you.

At 4 months pregnant, probably not. The baby isn't developed enough to get shaken-baby syndrome and you have (or should have) lots of amniotic fluid to cushion any blows. But you ought to err on the side of caution in the future. As a parent, you kill yourself enough over every little thing that can be wrong with your child and it would be worse if there does happen to be something wrong with your child and the possibility that you did anything to cause that would be mortifying!

No. The uterus is a big shock absorber. You CAN'T shake a baby in there, especially at 4 months. Those signs are there because they don't want children BORN on the rides. Relax. You didn't do any harm.

It is NEVER smart to ride amusment park rides while pregnant!!! You could have caused your water to break prematurely, or yoiu placenta to seperate from the wall of your uterus, or even permanent damage to the baby! You might want to get an ultrasound to get everything checked out!

when I was pregnant with my little boy I rode some rides at Bush Gardens... some of them did shake me up a bit.. but he turned out just fine... if you haven't been having problems since then I wouldn't worry too much. if you start having any kinds of problems though I would see my doctor.. but it wouldn't neccessarily mean a problem was due to the rides you rode..
