Don't do it. Most of them are not real. If they ask for bank account number or any other important information it is not real.

Or it could be a virus.

This is a scam. Why would you think it is real? Did you even enter their lottery? Not trying to sound rude or stupid but trying to figure out why greed out weighs common sense with people on things like this.

They asked for your bank account number so they could "transfer you the money" right? It's a scam. Forward it to the FCC if you want, otherwise just delete it.

No it is most likely not true and if they ask you for your bank account information then it is definitely a scam.

It is a scam. They will ask for you information. Have you heard of identity theft? Nothing in life is free.
